Transport Coordinator / Yard Supervisor

As the Yard Supervisor, you will be part of MITO's dynamic team based in Dalby, QLD.
 
The role will see you perform a mixture of duties operating a 30,000MT capacity OCTG pipe storage facility in Dalby critical to our customers drilling operations.
 
Daily activities include;
 
Schedule of transport (outgoing and incoming), Journey Management, receiving and loading road trains of drilling pipe, inspection of goods and inventory control whilst operating to a high level of HSE and operational compliance. You will also work alongside our manufacturing division.
 
You will work Monday - Friday 42 hours per week.
 
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling experience
  • Experienced forklift/Front end loader duties (10 tonne+);
  • Loading and unloading of trucks;
  • Logistics scheduling;
  • Forklift operations handling pipe;
  • Facilitation of stock counts and inventory management;
  • Compliance to HSE and Operational requirements;
  • Housekeeping of facility;
  • Routine inspection of goods

Qualifications and Experience:
  • High risk Loader and Forklift tickets;
  • Car licence;
  • MR truck licence preferred.
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
