Wedding Coordinator

Situated on on the western slopes of Mount Macedon in the picturesque Macedon Ranges, this versatile wedding venue offers idyllic indoor and outdoor reception and ceremony locations.  This role will provide you with an outstanding opportunity to apply and grow your established Wedding
Co-ordinator skill set.   

• Full time role with rotating weekend roster (e.g. one weekend on, one weekend off)
• Immediate start

Working alongside enthusiastic owners and managers, your areas of responsibility will be the organisation and running of weddings and functions, including sales, planning, administration and operations.

• Attending to and meeting the reasonable requests of wedding couples 
• Assisting with venue wedding enquiries and wedding meetings 
• Planning and supervising weddings and functions
• General administrative duties 
• Promptly responding to all enquiries, emails and all other correspondence received 
• Creating and using documents on Apple products (Mac, iPad) 
• Using online calendar system to schedule in meetings
• Issuing payment invoices 
• General restaurant duties where required during busy periods 
• Delegating or handing over all appropriate tasks to other employees. Regarding setting up, running and packing down of weddings and events 
• Any other duties reasonably specified by the employer from time to time 

It is expected that you will live in the local surrounding area and have previous wedding coordinator experience. The ideal candidate will also show:

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) 
• Excellent organisation skills with a strong attention to detail 
• A strong administration background 
• Excellent computer skills 
• Great initiative and will thrive working in a fast paced environment 
• Confidence in liaising with suppliers, hosts and other staff members in person or via phone and email
