Housekeeping Supervisor

The Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort is currently seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our professional and dynamic Housekeeping team on a full time basis.

 

Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager & Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you will provide exceptional support to the housekeeping team.
 

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: 
 

• Lead a strong team of Room Attendants to clean and service guest rooms to a 4 star standard

• Ensure the safe storage, issue and effective use of cleaning materials and equipment as specified by the manufacturers and procedures manual

•Be competent in the daily requirements of hired linen and ensure the cost effective use of linen meets operational standards

•Facilitate the smooth running of the department through adequate and timely supply of materials and equipment 
 
•Be pro-active in controlling costs by being fully aware of forecasted business and targeted profitability whilst maintaining standards 
 
 
   

To be successful you will have:
•Previous Housekeeping Supervisory experience within a hotel / resort setting

•Efficient time management skills and able to manage competing priorities

•Genuine commitment to guest service and excellent attention to detail

•Enjoy working within a diverse team, and autonomously diverse team, and autonomously
