FUNCTIONS MANAGER
 
 
The Savvy Squire is situated on the water in Mooloolaba. Recently renovated with a new function area opening soon.
We are looking for a true hospitality professional someone with initiative, personality and flair.
 
 
Successful candidates will possess the following attributes:
 
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- Exceptional grooming standards
- A good work ethic with the ability to work deadlines and strict timeline management 
- Manage relationships with 3rd party online booking suppliers, local community and sporting clubs
- Coordinate daily enquiries via telephone and email 
- Conduct site inspections and ensure rooms are presented accordingly
- Manage budgets and ensure targets are achieved 
- Overseeing and managing our RESdiary & IVVY online booking system
-Nurturing the team, giving guidance and development to junior team members 
- Liaise with management and kitchen to ensure smooth information flow and successful operation of events. This includes setup details, confirmation of menus and confirmation of dietary requirements, specific client requests and any other details as prescribed in the planning stages of an event.
