An exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Supervisor for a unique civil project on the Sunshine Coast is currently available. Having secured the civil package of the wider commercial works, we are looking for a Candidate with relevant experience working in conjunction with key stakeholders including Tier 1 companies.
Additional opportunities with several key clients in the region will also provide the avenue for on-going project work beyond the current requirements of this role across the Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay areas for the right Candidate. Additional works tend to be concentrated around
subdivision works.
You will be given control - with assistance from other senior management - in achieving construction outcomes.
The role will only suit those with detailed knowledge of civil works, more importantly, the processes and methodology involved in the coordination and construction of many services in a condensed work area. Assistance will be provided to help grow within a very friendly and team-orientated group, while enjoying the rewards of building on some already solid foundations.
Duties include: - Allocate required resources and methods to complete works;
- Identify obstructions and influences disruptive to project advancement, and act accordingly within project guidelines and Client/Company Policy and Procedure;
- Ability to liaise with all key stakeholders, both internal and external including subcontractors;
- Ability to interpret plans and communicate contract requirements with other staff;
- Assistance in providing information for project management to monitor and collate claims, variations and project information (reports);
- Strong understanding of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures.
Skills: - Minimum of 10 years' experience managing commercial, subdivisions and other civil works;
- Basic understanding of MS Packages, Excel, Outlook and Word;
- Plant Operating experience - to offer advice on a range of methods to coach Plant Operators where required;
- Cert 4 or Diploma in Civil Construction (desired).
