Executive Manager, Treasury Market Risk Oversight

Responsibilities:

• Provide leading oversight, insight and control for traded and non-traded market risk in all business activities
• Monitor and analyse market risk exposure, oversight off-transactional activity, limit management and consultation on market risk policy and practice
• Formulation, governance and effective maintenance of all market risk policies, frameworks and protocols
• Stewardship of Dealing Room Policies pertaining to Treasury activities
• Chairmanship of Banking Book Risk Committee
• Governance of limit change requests and breaches
• Annual review of market risk limit settings commensurate with overarching risk appetite
• Manage, develop and coach the Treasury Market Risk Oversight team, including setting development objectives, building bench strength, and managing performance.

Requirements:

• Excellent tertiary qualifications in the Financial domain or equivalent
• At least 10+ years' experience in market risk and/ or balance sheet management roles
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, market risk, systems infrastructure and internal/external reporting.
