Executive Manager Technology Risk - 2nd Line - Leading Brand

Leading financial services company have created a new role for a senior Executive IT Risk Manager working across the consumer banking division

The following are the main responsibilities of the position:

• To be a key advisor to the business on how to identify and manage its Technology risks.
• Ensuring the Risk Assessments and Controls for Vendors are performed within the context of the Operational Risk Management Framework
• Providing strategic well thought out advice to the business from a second line perspective.
• Providing measured advice around key business changes, projects, new infrastructure implementations, process changes and new products
• Continue to drive a supportive Risk culture and assist with improving strategies around improving overall practises
• Driving and manage the relationships with key vendor stakeholders
• Assisting and providing advice to senior management and business heads to identify technology risk exposures and to provide guidance in managing these risks
• Undertaking analysis on the Risk and Control environment for a number of internal customers including the banks risk teams

The followings skills would ensure your success in this role:

• Strong Technology Advisory experience from either a consulting firm or financial services organisation
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Strong stakeholder management skills are essential as is the ability to work autonomously
• Confident, professional with a strong commercial acumen
• Relevant tertiary qualifications
