Technical Business Analysts - Data Analytics

• Fixed term contracts - Multiple roles
• $140K inc Superannuation
• Data analytics - Business and private banking

We are recruiting for multiple technical business analysts for one of Australia's leading banks to work on a major data analytics project. The initial engagement will be 6 months with a view to extend. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years experience as a technical business analysts with demonstrated experience in a data analytics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Business process analysis (MUST HAVE)
• Ability to scrape through scripts, data transformation and identify business rules
• Strong stakeholder management. Candidates must be able to work with the business to translate information to suitable technical information for architects and data professionals to get their input on lineage/system controls/ issues
• SQL coding skills and experience with data tools to facilitate manual tracing of data through systems/script

Key skills required

• At least 5 years experience as a technical business analysts within a data analytics environment
• Exposure to data management tools such as Collibra would be great
• Exposure to ETL tools and coding methods such as Unix (or similar), and SAS would help
• Exposure with data aggregation or data risk in line with global frameworks such as BCBS239 also desirable
