Senior Risk Analyst - Capital & Provisioning Insights

A permanent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Credit Risk Analyst within one of Australia's leading financial institutions. The role is CBD based and comes with a market leading salary package.

In this role you will be responsible for the development of analysis, insights and recommendations related to group capital & provisioning calculations.

Day to day accountabilities would include;

• Develop & deliver insightful reports & analysis which explain credit metrics related to capital and provisions
• Understand and explain to stakeholders the key drivers of expected credit loss
• Ensure governance frameworks are maintained
• Engage and present insights to a range of internal stakeholders across the group
• Answer adhoc queries from senior management related to capital movements

To be considered for the role you will need;

• A degree in a numerate discipline; mathematics, statistics, actuarial
• Programming skills in SAS
• 5+ years in credit risk analytics from either capital model development, monitoring or portfolio risk analysis
• An understanding of capital or provisioning models is beneficial
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
