Role
It’s an exciting time to be joining our client as they continue to disrupt, move and shake the automotive industry here in Australia and overseas. This role will be based in their Sydney office and you will need to reside in Sydney, open to traveling (Monday to Friday) or open to relocating. It’s not everyday this type of opportunity comes along. Your role will be critical to our client’s future expansion plans and will head up sales for Australia. This role will report directly into the executive team and will see you working closely with senior management to implement strategic plans to gain market share and secure the number one spot in Australia. You will be results focused, have the ability to adapt to any given situation, display a proven track record in a similar position and be driven to succeed. It’s a competitive market so this role requires a senior professional who can deliver results. You will need to be prepared to hit the ground running and understand how our client operates internationally and nationally.
You will be working within the sales incentive budget to develop & implement national incentive programs that motivate dealer sales staff across all dealerships to achieve sales targets. Develop dealer support programs that foster best practice sales processes within dealership new vehicle departments. Manage the Demo, service loan, freight assistance & aged stock clearance programs within dealer support budget. Oversee the National & Regional marketing funds & provide operational direction & support to the regional offices in order to optimize the sales result in each region.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this opportunity you must have the following:
- Experience in Franchise and Consumer Laws
- Strong experience in a similar position previously
- Highly skilled in statistics and interpreting Financial reports
- Strong MS Office and SAP experience
- Management & Leadership experience specialising in sales
- Tertiary qualifications in communication / business or a related discipline
- Eligible to be a member of a relevant professional association
- Sound writing and presentations skills are essential
- Reside in Sydney, open to traveling or relocating
