Data and Reporting Manager

My client is an award winning Fintech who develop unique cloud based solutions and products that support the financial services market.

They are a highly dynamic and fast paced organisation and after year on year growth, my client is looking to grow headcount with the addition of a Data and Reporting Manager in their Sydney CBD offices.

This role would suit someone who is ambitious and enjoys the challenge of setting up something from scratch. Working closely alongside the Head of Analytics and CEO you will have accountability for developing the data and reporting framework.

Accountabilities;

• Evaluation of the current data and reporting landscape
• Introduction and management of new reporting and data frameworks
• Developing and implementing new data and reporting solutions that will include automation, dashboard development and visualisation
• Partnering with the business to identify areas of growth and opportunity and developing strategies to support this
• Design and delivery of reporting solutions for internal and external stakeholders including C-suite
• Driving data quality improvements
• The role will have one direct report with a view to the team growing

Experience;

• 5 years + experience in a data and reporting role
• Strong background in data and reporting
• Confident in designing and presenting new initiatives to senior level stakeholders
• Strong appetite for building something from scratch with an inquisitive and entrepreneurial mindset
• Comfortable working within a highly dynamic, fast paced environment
• Some experience in mentoring/ managing analysts preferred, however consideration will be given to individuals with an interest and capability in developing management skills
• Strong technical skills in SQL, R and Tableau and/or Power BI
• Financial services industry experience preferred
