Business Analysts - Data Analytics

• Basel 3 Data Analytics
• $600 to $700 per day + super

We are recruiting for multiple business analysts for one of Australia's leading banks to work on a major data analytics project. The initial engagement will be 6 months with a view to extend. Ideal candidates will have at least 4 years experience as a business analyst with demonstrated experience in a data analytics environment. Please note this is not a technical role. We are looking for candidates that understand data from a risk and regulatory perpsective as it relates to risk management systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Analysing and tracing data to establish lineage
• Identify gaps in risk data quality and associated controls
• Capture the data and system flows for risk management metrics and reports
• Monitor and report on the quality of data controls
• Support root cause analysis to identify permanent corrective actions

Key skills required

• At least 5 years experience as a business analysts within a data analytics environment
• Banking and or financial services experience would be highly desirable
• Experience working in a risk management environment such as compliance, financial markets risk (credit or market), audit, or investment risk would be great.
